Orhionmwon APC LGA Chairman's Kinsmen Abandon Party Over Dishonesty and Lack of Cohesiveness in Leadership
The kinsmen of the Orhionmwon APC LGA chairman led by Mr. Humphrey Orumwense, Osazee Osarumen and Eki Aziken have announced their departure from the party, citing dishonesty and a lack of cohesiveness in the party's leadership as the reasons for their decision.
The Defectors, which consists of several prominent members of the APC in Ogan Community, Abionkunla Ward One, political fielder Marshalls of the Chairman, Mr. Julius Agbonze stated that they can no longer continue to be part of a party that they believe has lost its way and is no longer serving the interests of its members or the people.
They cited several examples of dishonesty and lack of transparency within the party's leadership at the local government level, including the selection of candidates for political offices.
While speaking, Mr. Orumwense also expressed frustration with the party's lack of cohesiveness, citing the numerous factions and divisions within the party as evidence of its inability to work together towards a common goal.
