Over 500 Nigerian Doctors Attends Saudi Arabia Recruitment Test In Nigeria; Who To Blame.

It was indeed a surprised scenario at the centre of the recruitment exercise organised by the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Health in Abuja, to recruit medical personnels from Nigeria with specialties in anesthesia, family medicine, pediatric surgery, obstetrics, gynecology, ENT and UCI. Including emergency medicine.

The venue for the exercise was seen to be  crowded by Nigerian doctors, this however began to raise some important questions as to why these medical personnels are so eager to leave the country.

Some doctors who spoke to newsmen expressed  disappointment over the current state of Nigeria health system, with recourse to the none availability of infrastructure, worker's welfare, none payment of salary among other numerous things mentioned.

The current battle between the  federal government and  Doctors who are currently on strike seems to have also triggered the whole situation, and factors of discouragement to the medical personnels.

Caution has been given severally as against the massive migration of Nigerian doctors from the already endangered health system, will further place the country in deep crisis if measures are not put in place,

despite the fact that the president and his family seek medical care overseas, but the nigeria state will bear the disastrous burden..
