International; Uganda Receives first Batch Of Afghanistan Refugees.

Uganda received it first batch of 51 Refugees from Afghanistan with the bid to render assistant to the citizens whose country is currently under the siege of the taliban. 


the batch landed Entebbe International Airport Wednesday 25th of August 2021, Shortly after the American government appeal to the Uganda government, though the duration of thier stay in the country hasn't been ascertain yet by the Uganda government, according to country's foreign minister.

however, undisclosed source speculated that the  Refugees are to remain  in Uganda for a period of  three months, pending on when the US resettles them elsewhere. 

The evacuees which included men, women and children were sighted at the Uganda international airport been escorted by a team of security to their temporarily home.

As Well as the mandatory Coid-19 testing and the required quarantine  measures set by the international body  "World Health Organisation" WHO.

Not less than 2,000 Afghanistan Refugees are expected to take refuge in Uganda, and who will be catered for by the American government.
