ORHIONMWON; Urhonigbe Applaud Amb. Etinosa Odiase, As Odiase, Urgonigbe Idólevboe Youths And Entire Community Push For Transparency In Pan Ocean Oil Company, Demand CSR And Financial Records With Communities Since 2013
*Urhonigbe:* The patron of urhonigbe youth forum world wide, Hon Etinosa odiase storms urhonigbe general meeting with urhonigbe youths and members of the community to address insecurity and financial misappropriation of community funds. As urhonigbe is currently faced with insecurity challenges, the community have cried out for financial help to secure the community, leading to many questions from progressive sons and daughters of urhonigbe asking about urhonigbe account statement. Mr Etinosa odiase informed the community of the petition written by the youth executive and served to pan ocean to demand full monetary payment and corporate social responsibility to the community since its operation in the community.
The entire community and leaders agreed to work with the youth in any way to achieve the goal of bringing financial sanity to the community. Mr odiase speaking on behalf of the youth stated, that Failure by pan ocean to respond to the youth demand will lead to legal actions. A copy of the petition dated 5th June 2025 served to pan ocean was handed to the senior olotu Mr Jackson ogie. The community appreciates the good gesture and nominated 3 okakuos and the youth chairman to represent the community in achieving the goal of urhonigbe financial standing. On the other hand, More details were revealed outside the meeting regarding the account being used to receive money from pan ocean.
Document indicates that the 3 signatories to urhonigbe account registered with Corporate affairs as urhonigbe trustee to OML147 Akoko Edo and allegedly opened various accounts known to themselves to receive money from pan ocean. MeanWhile, they have presented only one Access bank account with 2 different statements. One as OML145 with Akoko Edo. Another one as OML145 without Akoko Edo. This calls for proper investigations to be carried out thereby leading to the decision by the youth to engage the appropriate authorities to ensure other accounts don't exist, and prosecute the 3 signatories if any financial misappropriation.
Prior to today's meeting, several letters and demand for full bank statements have been ignored by the 3 owners of urhonigbe OML147 Akoko Edo pan ocean account.
The Insecurity is a big challenge in our community and we need finance to engage the challenges and bring peace to the community. The financial misappropriation of urhonigbe funds will be exposed as pan ocean must declare to the community the account and their full payment history since 2013. The oml 145 Akoko Edo account was allegedly opened between 2022/23.
The community has discovered this account information and now resolved to deal with the chairman of pan ocean directly. As this case progresses, details will be furnished to every urhonigbe sons and daughters all over the world.
