EDHA Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Osamwonyi Atu Congratulates His Excellency Comr. Phillip Shaibu On His Appointment As Director General, Nigerian Institute Of Sports

The Deputy speaker Of the Edo state House Of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Osamwonyi Evbaguehita Atu has congratulated the former deputy governor of Edo state, his excellency Comr. Philip Shaibu on his appointment as the director general of the Nigerian Institute of Sports ( NIS). 

Atu while congratulating Shaibu described his appointment as a welcome development, stressing that Phillip Shaibu possesses the experience, exposure and expertise required to excel in his new appointment as Director general NIS. 

Atu said he is optimistic that his excellency Philip Shaibu would exell in his new role giving to his antecedent as a celebrated Sports enthusiastic, who had previously played some significant roles in reviving Bendel Insurance. 

It's a call to serve and I trust his excellency Philip Shaibu's capacity to make a huge success of the new assignment. 

On behalf of the good people of Orhionmwon And Edo in general, I extend our heartfelt appreciation to the president for this great honour and recognition accorded to him, he added.
