ORHIONMWON COUNCIL SETS TO RESHUFFLE CABINET AS CHAIRMAN APPRECIATES WARD SAs, WLOs FOR SERVICE TO THE PEOPLE

The Orhionmwon Local Government Council is undergoing a significant cabinet reshuffle, with the termination of Ward Special Assistants and Ward Liaison Officers' appointments taking immediate effect. 

The decision as approved by Executive Chairman Hon. Dcn. Newman Ugiagbe was aims to enhance the council's governance structure and efficiency in service delivery to Orhionmwon people.

Chairman Ugiagbe expressed immense gratitude to the affected officials for their service and assured them of future engagement opportunities. 

The council's efforts to reorganize its governance structure are aimed at improving service delivery, as stated in a letter signed by the Council's Secretary, Charles Aideyan Esq.

Meanwhile, the council has finalised preparations for commissioning over 40 projects across Orhionmwon's 12 political wards, including construction of modern markets to boost the Council's area local commerce, new school buildings and renovation of existing ones. 

Others are borehole water facilities to provide clean drinking water, healthcare facilities, installation of electricity transformers and solar street lights provisions.

These projects demonstrate the council's commitment to transforming the local government area through developmental projects and programs, ensuring Orhionmwon residents receive efficient service delivery. 

The affected officials have been directed to hand over all council properties and documents in their possession to the Office of the Secretary to the Local Government.
