The Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP), Ugbeze Community, Receive APC Decampees

The Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP) in Ugbeze Community, Uhunwonde LGA, received scores of APC decampees into their fold on April 1st, 2024.

The decampees who were in high spirit were led by Mr. Omoruyi Evbuomwan was received by Dcn Festus Osaigbovo, Dr. Nosa Owen, Mr. Lucky Oseye and other leaders of the party in the community. 

In another instance, Dcn Festus Osiagbovo received a leader of the APC in Uhunwonde LGA, Mr. John Ojo, aka Baddess, into the umbrella family in his Palacia home in Oza Community. Mr Baddess, who is a leader in Iguoke community, noted that he joined the party to support the election of Barr. Ighodalo and Ogie, fondly referred to as Ai O2, to become the governor and deputy of Edo State respectively, because he saw in them the capacity to lead Edo to greater height    

Dcn Festus Osaigbovo welcomed the new members into the party and encouraged them to remain resolute in their decision to work for the victory of the party forthcoming elections. 

Osaigbovo noted that it's only the PDP candidates who have what it takes to lead the state to prosperity. The popularity and the wealth of experience of Barr. Asue Ighodalo and Osarodion Ogie Esq are huge assets that will herald the victory of the party in the coming election, he said. 

The decampees said they have endured many years in darkness, APC, and have decided to join forces with the Peoples Democratic Party in order to ensure the victory of the party and its candidates in the forthcoming governorship election in the state. 

The receipt of the former APC members into the PDP family sservesas a pointer to the credibility and acceptability of the PDP candidates, Barr. Asue Ighodalo and Barr. Osarodion Ogie. Both candidates have a perfect blend corporate and public service experience, which will fast-track the development of the state.

Be assured that the umbrella is big enough to accommodate everybody.
