Road mishap; Orhionmwon PDP Leaders visits estwhile Council Boss in his country-home


The Executive Chairman of Orhionmwon Local Government Council, Honourable Newman Oghomwen Ugiagbe over the weekend led some PDP top leaders to the hometown of his predecessor, Honourable Sylvester Okoro over a ghastly road accident that almost claimed his life on Benin-Asaba express road late last year.


While expressing his appreciation to God Almighty for sparing the life of the Umoghun-Zuagbor born estwhile Council Boss. Hon. Ugiagbe wished him long life in abundance peace and good health. Honourable Ugiagbe said, "we Leaders of our great party, the PDP are in your house today to thank God for your life. Surviving such a ghastly accident can only be the hand work of God and also your good heart. I equally pray God to give you long life so that, God's purpose in your life achieved".


On his part, Hon. Okoro thanked the Leaders for the special visits, saying the august visit is a testament of the love they have for him. In narrating the severeness of the mishap, he said it was God's miracle that he survived the accident. He prayed non of Orhionmwon person experience such a misfortune again.


Notable Leaders that accompanied the Edo State ALGON Chairman includes the Honourable members representing Orhionmwon South in the Edo State House of Assembly, Hon. Bright Iyamu. Orhionmwon PDP Chairman, Prince Stanley Iduoze, Special Adviser to Edo State Governor, Lady Uwa Osunbor and Barrister Osahon Ahunwan, the Secretary to Edo State House of Assembly Service Commission.

Others are Hon. Monday Igbinigie, Senior Special Adviser to the Council Chairman, Deacon Jonathan Okunbor, Senior Special Assistant to Edo State Governor Hon. Hope Enogieru, former Ukpato ward Councilor, Hon. Blessed Edughaen.
