Orhionmwon: Abiokunla Ward II PDP Receives More decampees

 *THE PEOPLE'S DEMOCRATIC PARTY (PDP) IN AIBIOKUNLA WARD II IN ORHIONMWON CONTINUE TO INCREASE IN MEMBERSHIP BASE* 

~_As more Opposition Members Join the Party_

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Abiokunla Ward II, Orhionmwon Local Government Area of Edo State membership base continue to swell as more APC members dump their party to unite with the PDP in the ward. 

The decampees who cited the goodwill and developmental strides of Dcn Festus Osaigbovo as the reason for joining the party, defied the treats and intimidations from the leaders of the APC in the ward to pitch tent with, The Peoples Democratic Party.

The leader of the decampees, Mr. Victor Osakpanmwan aka BLACKY, said they took the decision to align with The PDP because of the deceit of APC leaders in the ward, which is amplified by their 'Use and Dump' syndrome. He noted that the leaders of APC in the ward are fond of making empty promises before elections and that, after the elections, they disappear into tin-air but only to resurface when another election is approaching with different sets of unattainable/fake promises in order to continue to cajole them to sustain their support for their party that plunged our economy into unprecedented abyss. 

Other decampees who moved to The PDP with Mr Blacky were visibly in joyous mood as they received their PDP membership cards. One of the leaders of The PDP in the ward, Dr. Bright Omoregie, who received the decampees, alongside other leaders of the party, assured them of continued development of Oza Community, the Ward, Local Government and the State in general, under the leadership of Dcn Festus Osaigbovo and the party. He opined that the PDP as an Umbrella party is large enough to accommodate everybody.

You may recall that just a few days ago, it was reported that thugs backed by the Nigeria Police were assigned to physically assault some new members of the PDP who recently dumped the lacklustre APC, despite all these, more key members of the opposition are eager to join the PDP because the difference between both parties is as clear as daylight.
