URHUEHUE: The Campaign Train of Orhionmwon Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)  led by the Party's Chairman, Prince Stanley Iduoze and the party's Chairmanship Candidate, Hon  Deacon Newman Ugiagbe on Saturday arrived Urhuehue Community, the administrative Headquarters of Ugu Ward (9), amidst ecstasy with excitement of jubilant Party Members and lovers of good governance who trouped out en masse to receive the delegation which comprises of high profile party members.

On his part, the Party Chairman, Prince Stanley Iduoze assures the people of  Ugu Ward in particular and Orhionmwon atlarge that the party was highly meticulous in selecting her candidates, outlining that both the Chairmanship Candidate, Hon.  Newman Ugiagbe and their son, Comrade Goodluck Osama Ogbeide, who is the  Councillorship Candidate are tested and trusted with the mindset of effectiveness in handling their portfolio. 

Iduoze said "For us as members of the PDP in Orhionmwon, we are highly excited because we have the best crop of Candidates so far. We have a sellable Candidate ranking from the Chairmanship, Deacon Newman Ugiagbe and the Councilor, your trusted son, Comrade Goodluck Osama Ogbeide" 

On his part, the Chairmanship Candidate assures the people of Orhionmwon proper delivery of projects and in tacking Socio-economic issues, adding that he is not a neophyte in Council administration. 

"For the Council's administration, you are safe. You are aware, there's no need to go to preparatory class. I am not a neophyte in Council's administration. Trust me with your vote and together we will develop Orhionmwon"

Meanwhile, the Councillorship Candidate, Comrade Goodluck Osama Ogbeide, who is also the former Chairman of Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) Edo State Chapter in an interview with Mega House Tv  said a vote for him, will be a vote to automatically harness the rich potentials of Ugu Ward, which  to him is one of the most influential wards in Edo State, haven produced  about 85% Oil and 100% Natural Gas, yet suffers unholy neglect.

"The local government is closer to the grassroots. I know the pains of our people, as a child who knows the length and breadth of the ward, the pains and sufferings attached. Ugu Ward is the richest in terms of Natural Resources. When, elected, I will ensure we harness the rich potentials of the ward, and not just pay attention to Oil and Gas, we will diversify too, all for economic dexterity"

Meanwhile, leaders of the Local Government wing which includes; The Director General of Edo Liaison House, Abuja, Deacon Festus Osaigbovo, PDP Chieftain and former Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Orhionmwon Chapter, Elder Ben Oghumu, the Former Special Adviser to Governor Obaseki on Political Matters, Lady Uwa Osunbor, thereafter admonished the Ward Leaders to embrace unity and oneness ahead of polls, noting that PDP remains one big family in Orhionmwon.
