ORHIONMWON: It was a memorable atmosphere in the political space of Orhionmwon local government area of Edo State today the 6th of August 2023, as the Peoples Democratic Party PDP Flags Off Campaign for the forthcoming Edo 2023 local government election.

The event which was held in igbanke as led by the LGA party chairman Hon. (Prince) Standley Iduoze recorded the presence of party bigwigs across the twelve wards of the local government including the hourabale member representing the good people of orhionmwon south constituency (chairman House committee on works) in the Edo State House Of Assembly. And the former commissioner for art, culture, tourism and diaspora affair Hon. Osaze Osemwegie Ero.

Ero in his speech expressed Optimism in the capacity of the chairmanship candidate of the party Hon. Newman Ugiagbe, and his vice Mr. MidWest Ogbebor including other contestants under the umbrella body.

In his speech, "Hon. Newman Ugiagbe is a man of great wisdom when it comes to administrative activities, contesting for Chairmanship position is a step towards the development  of Orhionmwon and a sign of victory for our great party come September 2nd 2023..

Hon Newman while addressing the crowd appreciated the voters for their time also in the same vein, gave them the assurance of good and inclusive governance when elected as the council boss. 

Hon. Bright Iyamu also in his speech showed gratitude to party faithfuls for their support towards his victory in the just concluded Edo State House Of Assembly election in Orhionwon South, while appealing to members to show same love and support to PDP in the forthcoming council election.
