Orhionmwon South PDP Ward Chairmen play host to Bright Iyamu

ORHIONMWON SOUTH: The People Democratic Party ward chairmen from Orhionmwon South yesterday hosted Comrade Bright Iyamu, the candidate of PDP for Orhionmwon South Constituency. The strategic meeting availed  the ward chairmen opportunity to deliberate on key issues as regards the forthcoming general election.

In his opening remarks, Ugboko Ward chairman, Mr. David Ovbieko passionately appealed to his colleagues to forget whatever might have happened during primary and work together in ensuring victory for PDP. He said "let forget whatever that happened during primary, we all supported different aspirants with a clear understanding that whoever emerged will have our full support, it's time to work for PDP victory".

Barrister Osahon Ahunmwan while thanking the ward chairmen for the honour of having the campaign council, he admonished them not to entertain any fear that top leaders are working round the clock to resolve all issues. He equally stated  that the candidacy of Comrade Bright Iyamu is not under any contention in the court.

On his part, the director general of Comrade Bright Iyamu Campaign Council, Honourable Sylvester Okoro urged the ward Chairmen to emplore all means in ensuring victory for PDP in their respective domains. He said the important roles of ward Chairmen in election execution cannot be overemphasize, saying they're the real grassroot tactical Politicians who understand their various terrains.

Reemphasizing his readiness to foster continue unity and growth of the party at the local government area, the soft spoken Iguododo born youth oriented Industrialist and candidate of PDP in Orhionmwon South Constituency II, Comrade Bright Iyamu thanked the ward chairmen for their supports during the primary. He also promised monthly welfare packages for the Chairmen. The  six ward Chairmen in Orhionmwon South were all present.

Those that were in the entourage of the House of Assembly hopeful includes Ambassador Wesley Asoro, Honourable Monday Igbinigie, Honourable Influence Osagie, Mr. Roy Osariemen, Honourable Nosa Izekor and Comrade Raymond Omokaro.
