Edo PDP: Chief Lucky Igbinedion To Head Peace Committee Ahead General Election.

 The executive governor of Edo State Mr. Godwin Obaseki has setup a peace committee to look into the crisis wrangling within the party in the state, 

as part of the many ways  to secure victory for the party in the forthcoming general election. 

Mr Governor Obaseki made this known when he met with leaders of the party at the state  secretariat.

The committee is set to be headed by a former governor of Edo State Chief Lucky Igbinedion having other notable personalities as members of the body. With 30 to 60 days time frame.

Post from the official media handle of Gov.  Obaseki entails more;

"It is high time we resolved all internal wrangling within the state chapter of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). To defeat the ruling party in the 2023 general election, our collective interest should be our major focus; not personal interests which is at the root of the crisis of the party.

After due consultation, I have decided to set up a Peace Committee comprising of notable leaders of the party from across the three senatorial districts of the state to try and resolve all the issues in the party in the next 30 to 60 days."
